He was a pioneer on openhanded drumming. This is the most ergonomically correct way to play drums. His drumming skills are unparallel even to this day

I had the great fortune to experience this mesmerizing orchestra on numerous occasions in their prime in the late 70’s. What a blessing! Entrance had the ability to bring music close to the heavens and - for lack of a better term - the divine. Thereby opening up my eyes to new realms of music for which I am forever thankful.
